Sachin Tendulkar is known for not getting into the 'who's the best' debate but the legendary Indian batsman has gone on record to say that Rashid Khan is the best T20 bowler in the world. He has labelled that the magical spinner from Afghanistan, the best spinner in the shortest format of the game.
Praising Rashid for his all-round performance in the match against KKR, Sachin tweeted "Always felt @rashidkhan_19 was a good spinner but now I wouldn't hesitate in saying he is the best spinner in the world in this format. Mind you, he's got some batting skills as well. Great guy."
Rashid helped struggling Hyderabad post 174/7 by scoring bulk of the 50 runs in the last three overs which proved to be the difference at the end as he took three wickets which included the wickets of Chris Lynn (48), Robin Uthappa (2) and Andre Russell (3) to help his team seal a spot in the IPL final.
Rashid displayed his brilliant fielding as well. It was his run out that started the fall of wicket for Kolkata Knight Riders. If that was not enough, then he also took two catches in the crucial last over to seal the victory for his side."It was much-needed for me, wanted to give my 100 percent in all departments," Rashid said on his performance.
