After thrashing Bangladesh in Test and the ODI series, the South African team continued their winning streak by defeating them once again in two-match T20 International series by 2-0. The South African team did not just win every series in all formats against Bangladesh but they also did it in style.

In the second and final T20I match against Bangladesh, David Miller created history with his bat and became the fastest player to score a century just in 35 balls. The cricketer remained not out at the score of 101 runs off 36 balls. Miller's sensational knock was decorated with nine sixes and seven fours. It seems the Bangladeshi cricketer Mohammad Saifuddin was his most favourite bowler in the match as he smashed him for five consecutive sixes.

The South African explosive opener Hashim Amla scored 85 runs off 51 balls and supported Miller who was exceptionally good with his bat and it seems as if it was his lucky day. While talking to SuperSport television the South African batter said, "I was pretty scratchy to begin with," "But towards the back end it came out quite sweet."

Miller's inning would have ended at the personal score of zero if Bangladeshi wicketkeeper Mushfiqur Rahim would not have dropped his catch.

Earlier, the world record of the fastest T20 international century was named by South African batsman Richard Levi against Kiwi team in Hamilton in 2011/12. Richard has created the world record by hitting the century off 45 balls. David Miller also becomes the fourth African player to hit a century in a T20 international match.
