Shane Watson hit 96 runs off just 53 balls helped Chennai Super Kings defeat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 6 wickets. Shane Watson was involved in a stare down battle with leg-spinner Rashid Khan. Watson hit Rashid for a boundary off his second ball and the Hyderabad bowler expressed his displeasure.
Rashid Khan may have started the stare down battle but Shane Watson made sure he ends it with style. Rashid Khan had an off day yesterday as he was hit for 44 runs in his four over spell, which was his worst figure in IPL 2019. Twitter was quick to take notice of the stare down battle between the two cricketers and replied with hilarious memes.

The Australian cricketer made sure he ended Chennai Super Kings’ losing streak and keep their home game winning record intact. Chennai have not lost a single game at home this season and the last time they did that was in 2011, the season they also won the tournament.
Watson was struggling from the start of the season as he couldn’t contribute much with his bat. In a post-match interview Watson revealed, “I was due for runs, that's for sure," Watson, who registered his first IPL half-century in his 11th match of the season.”
"I can't thank (coach) Stephen Fleming and (skipper) MS Dhoni enough for their belief in me. Most of the teams I've played in, I would have been dropped by now but they showed the trust in me,” the 37-year old cricketer added.
Watson received the man of the match award for his 96 run knock and proved that he is still one of the best T20 player in the world.
