However, Indian skipper who is not part of the historic Test match against Afghanistan and missed one of the ODI games against South Africa this year due to a neck strain.Now Indian Cricket team is supposed to find the best replacement for the Virat Kohli who can balance the team under pressure.
Possible replacement for Kohli
Rishabh Pant : This young guy has been in consistence form so far in the IPL tournament this season. The 11th edition of the IPL is personally satisfying the Pant. He is second highest run scorer with 684 runs just one run behind the SRH skipper Kane Williamson. He is successful in getting the attention from the national selectors despite his team is at the last in the table.

When Kohli decide to take rest during SriLanka tour, Iyer was only the layer chosen by the selectors. However, he got chance in playing XI in that match.
