Shehzad in a twitter post has accepted that he violated PCB's rules and said he soon wants to return to the international arena as soon as his ban is over. November 11 2018 is when his ban will be removed.
The 26 year old has an average of 40.19 in Test and last played in April 2017 during Pakistan's tour to West Indies. He last scored a Test century in November 2014 against New Zealand, where he scored 176 before getting out of an hit wicket.
Shehzad was suspended on 10th of july this year after he tested positive following a domestic match, PCB said his ban started from July 10. Shehzad has played 13 tests, 81 one-day internationals, 57 T20s for Pakistan, he has scored centuries in all three formats.
My doping case verdict is acceptable to me. I accept the sanction handed out by PCB. I inadvertently consumed a medicine which as an experienced cricketer I should have refrained from. I am fully committed to returning to cricket as soon as my ban is over (November 11, 2018.)
