Oval Test: Virat Kohli made this worst record as a skipper while Joe Root becomes first skipper to achieve this milestone

In the final Test of the series Alastair Cook finally found his rhythm as he scored his first half-centuries of the series against India at The Oval on Friday. AlastairCook scored 71 off 190 balls for his 57th half-century before he was clean bowled by India's paceman Jasprit Bumrah in the second session.

In the five Test match series Joe Root becomes the first skipper for England and third skipper in the world to achieve this mislestone. He won all toss in the five Test match series. On the other hand  Virat Kohli becomes the third Indian skipper who loss all toss in the Test series.

At stumps, England scored 198/7 on the first Day 1.

This is not less than a miracle, after 20 years, skipper who won the all the toss in the series. Earlier, Mark Taylor becomes only the skipper who won the all toss in Ashes series against England during 1998-1999. 

Indian skipper Virat Kohli is the only third captain of India to lose a toss in all the matches in the five-match series. 

In this list Lala Amarnath was the first skipper who lost the toss in all five Test matches against the West Indies in 1948-49. In 1983-83, Kapil Dev faced such a situation in front of Clive Lloyd.

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi is the only the skipper of India who has set a record of winning all the toss in the five-match series. Pataudi did this against England in 1963-64.
