Former India pacer and MRF pace foundation bowler S Sreesanth's wife Bhuvneshwari Sreesanth have written an open letter to BCCI in which she have asked BCCI to re-live his life and give him justice.
Sreesanth who is currently in the Bigg Boss house was accused of spot-fixing in the Indian Premiere League alongside Ajit Chandila and Ankeet Chavhan. The trio represented Rajasthan Royals in the cash-rich tournament.
Bhuvneshwari in her letter wrote that Sreesanth did not give any freebies as the batsman made 13 runs only because it was the great batsman Adam Gilchrist batting. Sreesanth was accused of taking 10 lakh rupees from a bookie to concede 14 runs in an over.
Bhuvneshwari also accused the police officer probing the case as she wrote that the Delhi police officer who saved himself from the pressure of Nirabhaya rape case as he was under tremendous pressure to resign.
Bhuvneshwari also points out that despite getting a clean chit from the Delhi High Court in 2015, BCCI is still holding the matter and has banned him from entering a cricket field.
During an episode of reality show Bigg Boss, Sreesanth admitted that he once considered of committing suicide after the controversy came into light in 2013.
