MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings was at it's blistering form and claimed the third IPL title after serving two year ban due to spot fixing scandal. Dhoni's Juggernaut thrashed Sunrisers Hyderabad by 8 wickets.
Everyone thought that Dhoni had a long discussion in team meeting with coach Stephen Fleming ahead of IPL final but 'thala MS Dhoni revealed that team meeting with coach Stephen Fleming last for only just 5 seconds in recently concluded Reimagine Awards function.
It was all-around performance of the team which help them to seal the IPL title.
As quoted in Times of India “Go, get it, boys.' And it got over”, is what Fleming had said, according to Dhoni.
"I think at that point of time, we were quite relaxed about how we'd conducted ourselves throughout the tournament. And everybody's role and responsibilities were very clear. So, you need to address something if it really needs to be addressed," said Dhoni.
"You know, there's no point, just because if there's a captain and a coach of the team, you've to say something. The team meeting that we had, lasted hardly five seconds. (Stephen) Fleming was like: 'Go, get it, boys.' And it got over," added the 36-year-old.
