Rishabh Pant has been called in as a replacement for Shikhar Dhawan in India’s World Cup squad. Now with Rishabh Pant in the team, India has got the most number of wicket-keepers in World Cup 2019. India has never played with four wicket-keepers in the team ever before and Dhoni might turn a spinner tomorrow against Afghanistan.
Rishabh Pant might play in place of Vijay Shankar tomorrow as the latter has injured his toe while facing Jasprit Bumrah in the nets. A video is going viral on social media where MS Dhoni can be seen practicing some spin bowling during India’s net session ahead of Afghanistan game.

MS Dhoni was seen fielding in the deep during India’s warm-up game against Bangladesh. Dhoni has bowled before in an ODI game and it won’t be a surprise if he does it against Afghanistan. Dhoni can pitch in with 2 to 3 overs if skipper Virat Kohli decides to do so.
India is one of the two teams who have a 100 percent win ratio in the ongoing World Cup and they will look to continue their winning streak in the match against bottom-ranked Afghanistan. India won three out of the four matches they have played so far and one match against New Zealand was washed off due to rain. India is high on confidence as they have recently beaten their arch-rival Pakistan by 89 runs (DLS) method.
