The mother of all game is here and fans are going berserk over it. Chennai Super Kings will host Mumbai Indians for the Indian Premier League qualifier match. The clash is between top two sides and the most successful teams of IPL history.
The strategy to handle each other have already been decided and MS Dhoni’s CSK could use a masterstroke against Mumbai. Reports suggests that CSK might rest Imran Tahir for the the first play-off match and play Karn Sharma instead. Sharma is also a spinner and can take Tahir’s place.
Karn Sharma is the only player in IPL history to win three consecutive titles. He did it with Mumbai Indians in 2017, in 2016 he was part of Sunrisers Hyderabad’s squad who won the title and in 2018 he won the finals with Chennai Super Kings.
Karn can be a lucky charm for MS Dhoni and Chennai Super Kings as both the teams will try their best to win the game and go directly into the finals.
The right-arm legbreak bowler has 54 wickets from 63 IPL matches at an average of 26.76. He made his Test debut against Australia, ODI debut against Sri Lanka and T20I debut against England.
Chennai and Mumbai’s rivalry is often termed as El Clasico (Real Madrid vs Barcelona) of cricket and is cherished by their fans. Both the teams have won three titles each.
