Indian cricketer, Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan was reportedly arrested by Amroha police after midnight brawl on April 29. According to reports, Jahan barged into Shami’s house and got involved in a heated argument with his mother and brother.
The incident took place last night after Jahan made a surprise visit at Mohammed Shami’s house in Sahaspur Ali Nagar village of Dedauli, along with her daughter Bebo.
As per reports, Amroha police arrested Jahan under IPC section 151, under which police can arrest a person without a warrant for 24 hours.
Jahan reportedly got into an argument with Mohammed Shami’s mother and his brother and started abusing them. Hasin has been taken to SDM court for hearing in the matter. However, Hasin Jahan alleged that the police arrested her due to Indian pacer’s fame.
Notably, last year, Jahan had accused her husband Mohammed Shami, an Indian cricketer of sexual harassment as well as extra-marital affairs with multiple women, ahead of IPL 2018. Post her multiple allegations, Shami was excluded from the annual contracts by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
Accusing him of harassment and physical abuse, Jahan had also posted several screenshots of Shami's chat with other women on her Facebook account. Shami is currently playing for Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
