Rajasthan Royals beat the Mumbai Indians in the sensational match that strengthened the Royals' way to the playoffs and made it difficult, almost impossible for the Mumbai Indians. The win can be attributed to the exceptional form of their batsmen including Sanju Samson. However, Jos Butler has been the real centre of attraction for he has hit five half-centuries in a row in the last five matches he has played.
It was Butler's unbeaten 94 run knock that helped Rajasthan crush the Mumbai Indians. "Nice to come back here, I enjoyed my time at Mumbai and it properly helped to know the conditions. The familiarity of the ground and the wicket helped me today. I'm in a good head-space and looking forward to the next game," Buttler said at the post-match presentation ceremony.
"I'm really enjoying it, found some good form, it's a do-or-die situation and I'm full of confidence so want to keep it going," the English batsman said.
Jos Butler is hoping to help his team with the experience he has acquired playing in the middle order for the Rajasthan Royals.
The opposition team Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was also all praise for the English batsman Jos Butler for his consistent performance. "Jos Buttler has been in great form, he didn't give us any chances, but we bowled very well. We should have got 15-20 more, but I don't want to be too harsh, we have played some good cricket. Innings like this can happen, we just have to keep our heads up, " Rohit Sharma said.
