The #MeToo campaign has turned a fire on social media and day by day many celebrities are being accused of sexual harassment. Till now it was only in Bollywood when celebrities were targetted for sexual harassment and now it has to reach to cricket field also. The Bollywood singer Chinmayi Sripada accused Sri Lankan cricketer Lasith Malinga for sexual harassment.
Chinmayi Sripadaa shared a post on her social media account Twitter, She shared a statement written and only took the name of Lasith Malinga.

Chinmayi Sripadaa shared an incident that took place during IPL and shared a story of a girl who faced sexual harassment from Malinga. The post reads, 'I'd like to remain anonymous. A few years back when I was in Mumbai, I was looking for my friend in the hotel we were staying in. I bumped into a very famous Sri Lankan cricketer during the IPL season who said my friend was in his room. I go in and she's not. He then pushed me in the bed and proceeded to climb onto my face...'

Significantly, Lasith Malinga is a very known face of Sri Lankan cricket and she even was the captain of the national team Sri Lanka when they won T20 World Cup in 2014.
