Lata Mangeshkar's heartfelt message to MS Dhoni on his retirement speculations

There has been widespread speculation about MS Dhoni retiring from cricket after India’s World Cup 2019 campaign, even though there has been no official report on Dhoni’s retirement. Many voices have been asking MS Dhoni to retire from all formats of International cricket because of his dismal form in the World Cup.

But among those voices, there is one powerful voice who dosen’t want the former World Cup winning skipper to retire. Lata Mangeshkar, the Nightingale of Bollywood has urged MS Dhoni not to retire as India needs him and his game.

India succumbed to 18 runs defeat against New Zealand in their semi final clash of the World Cup 2019, even after the men in blue put up a great fight. Many took to twitter to applaud the team for their endeavour while some expressed their disappointment through memes.

Lata Mangeshkar too took to Twitter to support the team and asked MS Dhoni not to retire.

"Namaskar M S Dhoni ji.Aaj kal main sun rahi hun ke Aap retire hona chahte hain. Kripaya aap aisa mat sochiye.Desh ko aap ke khel ki zaroorat hai aur ye meri bhi request hai ki Retirement ka vichar bhi aap mann mein mat laayiye.@msdhoni (Hello, MS Dhoni ji. Of late, I have been hearing that you want to retire. Please don't think that way. The country needs your game and it is my personal request too that you don't think of retirement.)" she tweeted.
