Indian fans were not happy after rain washed off India versus New Zealand World Cup match. This was the fifth World Cup match that was affected by the rain and fourth match that ended without any result. The match between Sri Lanka and Afghanistan was the first one to be affected by the rain but was eventually completed through DLS method.
Indian fans were not happy by the way the International Cricket Council (ICC) is managing the World Cup in England. It was not an unknown fact that England is prone to unpredictable rain but ICC did not bother to equip itself with all the measures beforehand. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is more equipped to conduct matches during rain than the ICC.

Both India and New Zealand are currently unbeaten in World Cup 2019 and they are the only teams to have not lost any match so far. New Zealand won their previous matches against bottom-ranked Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. India won their matches against South Africa and Australia.
India will face their arch-rival Pakistan on June 16 at Old Trafford, Manchester and fans from both sides will be hoping to see the sun on Sunday as it is the most anticipated match of this World Cup.
