Indian team’s World Cup campaign ended on a sad note to what was a dominating start. Virat Kohli and boys were eliminated from the tournament after their 18 runs defeat against New Zealand in the semi-final. But Jasprit Bumrah’s fearless bowling in the World Cup saw some of the great batsmen looking for cover. Bumrah ended the tournament with 18 wickets from 9 matches but it was his death bowling and ability to contain runs in the middle overs that makes him stand apart.
But did you know that Jasprit Bumrah was hit for a six only once in the tournament? After delivering more than 500 balls in the World Cup his tally of conceived sixes read just one. It was not a proper batsman who got lucky to hit Bumrah for a six. It was an all-rounder from Afghanistan who achieved the impossible. Mohammad Nabi hit Bumrah for a six in their league stage match which India won by 11 runs.
Mohammad Nabi is the only batsman who hit Jasprit Bumrah for a six in the recently concluded World Cup.

England won the World Cup for the first time after beating New Zealand in the final. The match was a tie and a super over was played which ended in a tie as well. England was awarded the World Cup because of its superior boundary count.
