During the league, Kirsten and Nehra will also play the role of mentor for the team. Kirsten signed the contract last week. This will be his second term with the IPL team.
Earlier in 2015, he had coached Delhi Daredevils. RCB retained former New Zealand spinner Daniel Vettori as the head coach, who has been with the team since 2014.
According to the agency, the IPL auction is to be held on 27th and 28th January and there has been a change in the roles of Trent Woodhill and Andrew McDonald. Woodhill has been named the batting talent development, analysis and fielding coach.
Apart from this, he will be the head of talent search team for franchisees during off-season. McDonald, who played the role of bowling coach first, will now be analysis head.
