The Rajasthan Royals entered the 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) auction with an intention of picking an all-around player who can enhance the overall performance of the team, and they got exactly what they needed.
The franchise opened their account in the auction by adding former West Indies skipper Jason Holder to the squad.

The Rajasthan Royals broke the bank and bought Holder for Rs 5.75 crore during the auction that took place in Kochi today. Picking Holder is a pretty sensible and steal deal for the Rajasthan based team.
However, Royals have placed their bids for numerous players but the former West Indies skipper is the only buy so far.
