Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell has been signed by Kings XI Punjab for colossal price of Rs 10.75 crore in the in progress Indian Premier League (IPL) auction on thursday.
Delhi Capitals and Kings XI Punjab went all out for the all-rounder, but at the end, Punjab got hold of the player.
Earlier, Australian batsman Chris Lynn was acquired by Mumbai Indians for his base price of Rs 2 crore.
England skipper Eoin Morgan was purchased by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 5.25 crore.

Rajasthan Royals got hold of Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa for Rs 3 crore. Australia’s limited overs captain Aaron Finch was obtained by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 4.25 crore.
A total of 186 Indian cricketers, 143 foreign players and three players from Associate Nations are going under the hammer today.
A Total of 332 players are up for grabs for the 13the edition of the IPL. While 997 cricketers had initially regestered, the final list was trimed after the eight teams submitted theri list of shortlisted cricketers.
