With NFL cheerleaders earning $75 to $150 per game and make as much as $50 an hour for corporate appearances their IPL counterparts make more money than them. IPL cheerleaders make $112 to $140 per game and can get $115 to $120 for making corporate appearances.
Every team in the IPL pay a base salary of Rs. 8000 and a bonus of Rs, 3000 if the team wins the game. But Ajinkya Rahane and Steve Smith’s Rajasthan Royals pay their girls Rs. 9000 as base salary with a winning bonus of Rs. 3000 per game.
The highest paid cheerleaders are from Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers’ Royal Challengers Bangalore, who pays a base salary of Rs. 10,000 per game with a bonus of Rs. 3000 if they win the match. With Virat and De Villiers hitting boundaries every second ball, it is obvious that their girls get more salary than other teams.
IPL 2019 auction finished a day before yesterday in Jaipur with every team buying their players in a fixed amount they were allotted by the BCCI. Mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy and Jaydev Unadkat going for the highest bid in the auction with Kings XI Punjab and Rajasthan Royals buying the respective players for 8.4 crores each.
