Because of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 being held in May-June next year, the Indian Premier League has been preponed by Board of control for cricket in India (BCCI) to March for its 2019 edition. It is being predicted that because of Lok sabha elections in 2019 the IPL could be shifted to some other country. The auction for the IPL 2019 is scheduled for Tomorrow, that is December 18. This time IPL franchises could spend crores on this five new players.

West Indies player Shimron Hetmyer could attract a lot of franchises in IPL 2019 and can spark a bidding war. He made his debut in 2016 Caribbean Premier League and became the youngest player to score a century in CPL. In 2018, Cricket West Indies awarded him a red-ball contract and he played against India in the Test series in October this year.
