Surisers Hyderabad won the match against Rajasthan in an interesting clash in the 28th match of IPL.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are not best known for their batting and dealt with their first wicket in Shikhar Dhawan in the 3rd over. He was batting at a paltry score of 6 runs. Alex Hales, on the other hand, played well and help provide the team with a firm base. Kane Williamson along with Alex Hales gave Hyderabad a solid start. He hit 63 fast runs off just 43 balls. The players could not do much later and were able to add a decent score of 151 runs on the scoreboard.
Rajasthan Royals came to bat with a target of 152 runs in mind. Ajinkya Rahane came down the pavilion to open the Rajasthan's inning and started it really well.
Sanju Samson has been one player whose performance can be replaced with the word 'consistency' and he did not disappoint this time as well. He hit a 40 run knock at 30 balls and hit one six along with 4 fours in his inning. The looked well in the control of Rajasthan Royals for the mediocre target they were chasing but Hyderabad bowlers had different plans.
Ben Stokes lost his wicket to Yusuf Pathan and went down for a duck. The match got into the no man's land at a point of time in the game from where it could have gone towards any of the two sides.
However, Rajasthan could not pull up the gears at the right time and despite giving a tough fight eventually lost the match.
