IPL 2018, RCB vs CSK: Dhoni's army crushes Virat's Challengers in a nail-biting clash; see scoreboard

MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to field first. Virat's army came to bat first and started firmly. Quinton de Cock and Virat Kohli looked well and started shaping RCB's inning but in the fifth over, when Kohli was batting flawlessly, He was caught on the long-off by Ravindra Jadeja on Shardul Thakur's delivery. Things looked sad for RCB for a moment but de Cock did not let the momentum of the game go.

He was then joined by Ab de Villiers who was in no mood to disappoint his fans, starting strong De Villiers smashed 68 runs using just 30 balls. He hit 8 sixes in the process. De Cock added 53 runs to the board and got out after facing 37 deliveries. Later, down the order came Corey Anderson who couldn't perform substantially but RCB's inning was supported by Mandeep Singh's 32 runs off just 17 deliveries. He hit 3 maximums in his inning.

Virat Kohli's Challengers ended up setting a tough target of 206 runs for CSK to achieve.

However, CSK couldn't come up with a solid start and lost Shane Watson in the very first over at a paltry score of 7 runs. However, Ambati Rayudu led the charge from CSK's side and continued firing the RCB bowlers with fours and sixes who was later joined by skipper MS Dhoni who hit the ball hard.

Dhoni completed the chase in the most legendary way by finishing the match in CSK's favour. He hit an amazing 34 ball 70 run knock.  RCB faced yet another debacle.
