The third match of the IPL season 11 now comes to an end as Shah Rukh Khan-owned team Kolkata Knight Riders has defeated Virat Kohli's team Royal Challengers Bangalore in their opening match. KKR defeated RCB by 4 wickets. KKR under the captaincy of newly appointed captain Dinesh Karthik came to chase the score 177 runs set by Virat Kohli and his team.

However, the co-opener Sunil Naraine took the charge in his hand and gave a strong start to the team. He played an amazing inning of 50 runs in 19 balls with the help of 5 sixes and 4 fours.

Then came to bat Robin Uthappa and Nitish Rana, well the day was not for Robin Uthappa but Nitish Rana supported his team in this win. He played the stable inning of 34 runs in 25 balls. However, then a time arrived when the whole match came on the shoulders of skipper Dinesh Karthik who played a crucial inning in this match.
