Delhi has been at the bottom of the points table standings.
Delhi Daredevils have a strong batting line-up that starts with an explosive and dependable duo of Colin Munro and Prithvi Shaw. The middle order is taken care of by the likes of in-form batsmen Shreyas Iyer and Rishab Pant.
The Rajasthan Royals are certainly one of the under-performing teams of this years IPL, and their record of played seven, won three won't please them a great deal. But in saying that, today's game against the team bottom of the pile, is a great chance to get back and running towards a top four spot.
Rajasthan Royals have been struggling to keep their pace going on while Jofra Archer has been trying to make their game stable with the ball. Sanju Samson has been providing a firm base to Rajasthan's batting but they still need others batsmen to perform and they need to do this really soon as the team is running out of time.
Ben Stokes has looked good so far but has thrown away his wicket just too many times whereas Buttler has not found his form yet.
Delhi would certainly have the home advantage and they would like to get off the bottom with their in-form batsmen.
Here are the final playing eleven:
Rajasthan Royals: A Rahane*, D Short, S Samson, R Tripathi, B Stokes, J Buttler (wk), J Archer, K Gowtham, S Gopal, J Unadkat, D Kulkarni.
Delhi Daredevils: P Shaw, C Munro, S Iyer*, R Pant (wk), G Maxwell, V Shankar, L Plunkett, A Mishra, S Nadeem, A Khan, T Boult.
