IPL 2018: After Virat Kohli rued his own poor batting in team's opening match; here's what KKR's Dinesh Karthik said about RCB's skipper

In the opening match of Royal Challengers, Bangalore faced a heartwrenching debacle from the Dinesh Karthik's Kolkata Knight Riders. The KKR's balling was quite unsatisfying although its batsmanship worked well and helped the team to taste the victory. However, Kohli was upset with his own performance as a batsman after the Royal Challengers suffered a four-wicket defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on Sunday.

"I think we were 15 short with the bat. I played too many dot balls and couldn't get any momentum going. Me and AB getting out in 2 balls to a part-timer was a game-changing event," Kohli said after the match.
After Kohli blamed himself for his team failure, KKR's skipper Dinesh Karthik praised Kohli's performance in the 3rd match of the season.

"When AB and Virat were playing it was tough, they were too good and they are two great players. Just wished for their wickets after they got starts and we got lucky I guess. We just prayed to God that he [Narine] plays a few balls - I mean he has been doing that pretty well. It's very important that he gets us off to a good start. We all play for the crowd and they came in big numbers. We would love to play for a team like this and a crowd like this," Karthik said.
