Indian opener Rohit Sharma is just 69 runs away to become the leading run scorer in T20I cricket. Rohit recently surpassed Virat Kohli, Brendon McCullum and Shoaib Malik to become the second on the list.
Martin Guptill of New Zealand currently tops the chart with 2,271 runs, Rohit who scored an unbeaten century in second T20I against the Windies is at 2,203 runs.
Suresh Raina(1,605), MS Dhoni(1,487) and Yuvraj Singh(1,177) are the other batsmen on the list of highest run-scorer for India in the shortest format of the game.
Rohit will look to surpass Martin Guptill in the third and final match against the West Indies. The match will be played at the Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, today.
