The rivalry between India and Pakistan is the fiercest in the history of cricket. Whenever the two nations play against each other more than a billion people tune in to watch. India and Pakistan have fought three major wars since they gained independence from the British and now they fight on the cricket field as the fans enjoy them demolish each other.
India and Pakistan took the game from the British and made it their own. After India defeated Pakistan in World Cup 2019 hearts of many Pakistani fans were broken but the men in green fought back really hard against South Africa today as they posted a big total on board.
Amidst all of these, an Indian fan was spotted cheering for Pakistan at Lord’s and won hearts across the border, hence proving that cricket is a gentleman’s sport. The official Twitter handle of Cricket World Cup 2019 posted the picture with a caption that read, “#SpiritOfCricket.”

As far as the match is concerned, Pakistan skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to bat first and the decision didn’t backfire as they posted a big total of 308-7 on board. Haris Sohail who replaced Shoaib Malik was the highest wicket-taker as he hit 89 off 59 balls. Babar Azam also scored a half-century as he hit 69 runs.
