The first Test match between Indian and Sri Lanka of the three-match series was a dramatic draw at the Eden Garden Kolkata. On the fifth day of the first Test Men-in-blue led by Virat Kohli declare the second inning at the fifth day of the match at 352-8. The Indian skipper declared the inning just after completing his 50th International century (Test-18, ODI-32, T20-0).
Ahead of the second Test match at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur starting on Friday the men-in-blue gets down to business. On Thursday Indian skipper along with his fellow team member trained hard in their practices session. The reason behind first Test draw was the weather of the environment and Indian team will look forward to winning the second Test match to take the lead in three-match Test series.
In the second Test match, the Indian team will be without the explosive Test opener Shikhar Dhawan and Indian speedster Bhuvneswar Kumar. Both the players were released from the second Test due to personal reasons.
The official Twitter handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) posted few pictures and video of players on the micro-blogging site and wrote, “#TeamIndia is here at Nagpur for a training session ahead of the 2nd Test against Sri Lanka #INDvSL”
