After thrashing Sri Lankan team by 1-0 in the recently concluded three-match Test series, the high spirited Indian squad is all set for the upcoming three-match One Day International series and T20I against Islanders.
Even though Sri Lanka team led by Dinesh Chandimal fought well against Virat Kohli's boys, yet there are very few cricket experts who believe that they can give tough competition to men-in-blue.
However, there is a bad news for the Indian cricket fans as the India skipper and 'run machine' of India will not be seen playing for India's side. As Virat Kohli had asked for the rest from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and he has been granted the rest.
The veteran Sri Lanka batter turned commentator Russel Arnold was brutally trolled by former India batsman VVS Laxman, when he tried to predict the three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka.
Russel took it micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, "So Test series ends 1-0 and I can promise you the ODI's wont end 5-0 like it did a few months ago !!!."

Sure Russel , it won’t in a 3 match series. This prediction won’t fail. https://t.co/zhJTlwUV92

To which former Indian batter replied, "Sure Russel , it won't in a 3 match series. This prediction won't fail."
Both the team will face each other in the three-match ODI series starting from 10 December.
