Virat Kohli has been rested for the one-day and Twenty-20 series with Sri Lanka. Rohit Sharma will lead the team in his place. At the same time, Sri Lanka has given Thisara Perera the command of team in place of Upul Tharanga. In such a situation, the responsibility of winning both their captains on their shoulders is a big responsibility. Rohit will captain India for the first time, although he is the captain of the Mumbai Indians in IPL.
Talking about Team India's record at HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala, the 'men in blue' have won three ODIs and lost one in three one-day matches. In the one-day match played against New Zealand in 2016, Team India won by 6 wickets.
