An India vs Pakistan match is expected to be a high voltage encounter. The same was regarded as likely as the arch foes locked horns in the semi-final of the ICC U-19 World Cup on Tuesday.
With Pakistan choosing to bat first after winning the toss, the chance was there for the in-form Indian fast-bowling unit to display their skills. Pacer Kartik Tyagi opened the attack alongside Sushant Mishra. While Tyagi has been in brilliant form for the men in blue, it was Mishra who scalped the most crucial wicket of Mohammad Huraira, in his first over.
Mishra continued to cause concern to Pakistani batsmen and ended up hitting Haider Ali on his shoulder. Ali could not duck as the ball came exploding onto his body.
The Indian pacer quickly went across an asked Haider if he was fine. The Pakistan physio was out in the park for a while before Haider regained his foothold.
The Indian pacer’s gesture is now winning the internet as fans are heaping praise on him for displaying good sportsman sprit.
“Haider Ali got hit by bouncer of Sushant and he went to him and asked him Are U Okay? Moment of the day #SpiritOfCricket,” wrote one Twitter user.
“Mishra bowls a short delivery that hits Haider Ali’s left shoulder.. #SpiritOfCricket,” wrote another Twiiter user.
