Virat Kohli's juggernaut departed to England with flying colours for rivalary tour against Ireland and England starting next week on Friday.
Team India will play two day T20 international series against Ireland on June 27 and June 29 before they play a limited-overs series and Tests game against England.
India Skipper Virat Kohli commented on his poor form in England in 2014, during interaction with the media before leaving for tour of England and Ireland he cited that "This is a team game. It doesn't matter how I perform or how one player stands out in the whole tour. We, as a team, have to play well. In the upcoming tour of England, our focus will be on how we can perform well as a team".
If we way back to year 2014 it was just a worst nightmare for Virat Kohli. In England Virat Kohli doesn't have any stunning performance in Test games.
He managed to score 1, 8, 25, 0, 39, 28, 0,7, 6 and 20 in the five Test games at an average of 13.50 against England while in ODI's he went on to score 0, 40, 1* and 13 in 4 ODIs.
Virat Kohli's hard-work, concentration and passion quickly fixed his weakness and changed his stance to make strong comeback. Kohli totally transformed himself and worked on his batting techniques and temperament as compared to 2014 England tour.
After the England tour, Kohli went to Australia and amassed four hundreds in four Tests. He smashed 655 runs from five Tests against England at home.
Indian run-machine Kohli hammered 871 runs across formats and was the leading run-scorer in the Test and ODI series during the Proteas tour.
