England duo Jofra Archer and Jason Roy have been fined while the whole Pakistan team has also been punished following their match at Trent Bridge.

Roy has been fined 15 per cent of his match fee after he was found guilty of letting out an audible obscenity when he mis fielded during the 14th over of Pakistan’s innings.

Roy had a disappointing day in the field, dropping a catch of Mohammad Hafeez and also fumbling a ball that could have created a run out opportunity. The damaging opener then made eight runs with the bat as the host nation lost by 14 runs.

Archer has also been fined 15 per cent of his match fee after being found guilty of showing "obvious dissent" at an umpire’s wide call in the 28th over of Pakistan’s innings.
Both Roy and Archer have also had one negative point added to their records.

All eleven Pakistan players have also been fined as they were found to be behind the over rate in their stunning upset win.

Pakistan were ruled to be just one over behind the rate, resulting in a 20 per cent fine for skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and 10 per cent for his 10 teammates.

Pakistan's victory in Nottingham, came as a great surprise, particularly after they were comfortably beaten by England in their five match ODI series before the World Cup.

Pakistan's next match is against Sri Lanka in Bristol on Friday, while England will take on Bangladesh in Cardiff.
