Mohammad Hafeez Pakistan’s all-rounder, who was named the Man of the Match against the Host England as he scored 84 of 62 balls and took the wicket of skipper Eoin Morgan, has revealed that confidence level are high in the dressing room due to the team’s World cup win over England.
Thanks to Hafeez, Pakistan won the match by 14 runs and got their campaign on track, after suffering a dreadful defeat against the Windies in their opening game where the lost by 7 wickets.
“We didn’t start well against the West Indies but the way we performed against England has boosted our morale and confidence has returned to our dressing room,” he told Geo.tv.
“When you perform and contribute in the team’s success, you’re automatically boosted and I can see this in the dressing room. Players are energetic about the tournament.” added Hafeez
Pakistan will play their next game against Australia in Taunton on Wednesday
