After a video of Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed being fat shamed at a mall in the United Kingdom went viral on social media, an unidentified man who took the video has come up and expressed regret.
The man whose identity still remains unknown, had earlier tried to take a picture with Sarfaraz Ahmed, but it later turned out that the man was trying to make a video only to fat shame the Pakistani skipper.
"Why are you as fat as a pig? You have made Pakistan proud," the offender told Sarfaraz Ahmed.
No manners. No respect. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Yes the performances have not been good but the players don't deserve such abuse #CWC19 pic.twitter.com/o8rMNTVGXI

Nevertheless, after being picked by the fans and media around the world, the man issued an apology through a video message.
"I was telling something to the Pakistani captain, which is not correct. I apologise to everyone, who was offended with the incident, I had never uploaded that video,” the offender said.
He also asserted that angry Sarfaraz Ahmed had walked up to him after the video was shot and had deleted the video.
The man ended the video saying that even he is a Pakistani and was unaware of the consequences of the clip.
This incident, however, came after a fan had slammed Pakistan cricketers after their loss against India in the ongoing ICC World Cup.
