After Shikhar Dhawan’s thumb injury, team India has once again fallen into dilemma of number four spot in the team. KL Rahul is the top contender to replace Shikhar Dhawan at the top of the order along side Rohit Sharma.
Vijay Shankar will most likely fill the number four spot in the playing XI and on the other hand, India might look to strengthen their bowling attack by including Mohamed Shami after which Ravindra Jadeja might be the only spinner in the playing XI.
"As far as batting order goes, KL (Rahul) moves top of the order and there are various options the team can utilise going into the next game," India batting coach Sanjay Bangar said on the eve of the match.
