As soon as India lifted their record fourth ICC World Under-19 Cup title by beating Australia in the finals in New Zealand, congratulatory messages started pouring in from all corners.
The current and former cricketers took to their Twitter handles to applaud the 'Men in Blue'.
Congratulating the young Indian boys by tweeting a video of himself, legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar hailed the side for their great teamwork.
"With great team work, big dreams work. Congratulations to our world champions!! We are proud of you. A big congratulation to Rahul and Paras for their guidance. #iccu19cwc #IndvAus," Tendulkar wrote.
Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag credited India U-19 coach and his former team-mate Rahul Dravid for committing himself to these young kids.
"Every Indian is delighted, all credit to Rahul Dravid for committing himself to these young kids, and a legend like him deserves to lay his hands on the WC. Only Fitting. #INDvAUS," he said.
Echoing similar view, Indian batsman Suresh Raina hailed the Men in Blue for remaining unbeaten in the prestigious tournament and coming out as eventual champions.
"Great work by the U-19 team to remain undefeated in the World Cup. Truly deserving winners. Your work has just begun, enjoy this moment! A special shoutout to #RahulDravid who has continuously worked hard behind the scenes to help this team achieve its true potential. #ICCU19CWC," he added.
"For some, this will be the biggest moment in their lives. But as Rahul Dravid said, they must look upon this as a stepping stone. #ICCU19CWC," renowned commentator Harsha Bhogle tweeted.

Earlier, Indian opening batsman Manjot Kalra grabbed the eyeballs as he struck
an unbeaten 101-run knock to help the Men in Blue beat Australia by eight wickets in the finals of the ICC U-19 World Cup at the Bay Oval ground in Mount Maunganui here on Saturday.
Skipper Prithvi Shaw (29) and Kalra gave India a strong start before rain interrupted the play in the fourth over.
Coming to bat at number three spot, swashbuckling batsman Shubman Gill, who had scored a ton in the semifinal against Pakistan, was cleaned up by Param
Uppal on 31.
However, Kalra remained rooted on the crease, along with Harvik Desai (47), to guide as India chased down the target of 217 in just 38.5 overs.
For Australia, all-rounder Jonathan Merlo became the highest scorer with his 76-
run innings after the Indian blowers ripped through their top-order.
Kamlesh Nagarkoti was the pick of the bowlers for India with three wickets while
Ishan Porel and Shivam Mavi bagged two wickets each.
Manjot Kalra was adjudged as 'Man of the Match' while Shubman Gill was
awarded 'Player of the Tournament'.
It should be noted that India have remained unbeaten in the Under-19 World Cup
tournament.
