Adding yet another feather to his cap, the Indian skipper Virat Kohli, the most successful batsman in the Test series against Sri Lanka, has reached number two in the ICC Test rankings. In the list of rankings for Test batsmen released on Wednesday, Kohli has moved from fifth to number two. While Australian captain Steve Smith is on top.
Kohli scored a total of 610 runs in recently concluded Test series and he was also awarded as a 'man of the series' at an average of 152.50. Virat Kohli, who has been in great form, added two consecutive double centuries (213, 243) and an unbeaten century (104*). Along with this, Kohli became the first Indian batsman to score 600+ runs in the three-match Test series.

Along with this, Delhi boy is now in the top three ranking of the three formats of International Cricket. In addition to securing second place in the Test, Kohli is on the top in ICC ODI and T20 Internationals rankings.
