India and Bangladesh are all set to play the second semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy on 15 June.
Rain is expected play spoilsport in the much-anticipated encounter. Indian fans, however, don't have anything to worry about because even if rain washes the match- India will eventually qualify for the final because of the better run rate.
India has four points while Bangladesh only has three, which will eventually push Men-in-blue to the tournament's final.
Moreover, India is above Bangladesh even in the case of Net Run Rate.
India defeated Pakistan by 124 runs and South Africa by 8 wickets to book their spot in the semi-finals but lost to Sri Lanka by 7 wickets.
The team's big victories helped them gain the Net Run Rate (NRR) of +1.370.
In the other group, Bangladesh only defeated New Zealand in their last group match by five-wicket.
But England's win over Australia helped Bangladesh to finish at the second position with three points and eventually qualified for the semi-final.
This is the first time that Bangladesh made it to the semi-final in Champions Trophy. But they don't have a good run rate (NRR)- 0.000.
