After this Glenn Maxwell made 31 runs in 14 balls and Aron Finch made 36 runs in 14 balls that made Australia wins this match one over earlier.

Earlier New Zealand captain Kane Williamson after winning the toss decided to bat first, and their team opening batsman Martin Guptill made century 105 runs in 51 runs by hitting 9 sixes. On the other hand, another opening batsman Colin Munro's brilliant knock of 76 runs in 33 balls by hitting 6 sixes and 6 fours made New Zealand team 243 runs in 20 overs by losing 6 wickets.
Now, this match has created a history in T 20 international while first New Zealand made the highest score in T 20 and then Australia made another record of it by chasing the highest score.
