MS Dhoni was part of a hilarious incident last night in a match against Mumbai Indians. Dhoni survived a scare by Jasprit Bumrah but before that he lost his bat and his wicket. Dhoni was looking good before the incident as he hit two sixes in the previous over of Lasith Malinga.
In the last over of the first innings, Jasprit Bumrah came in to bowl and Dhoni was at the striker’s end. Dhoni tried to hit the first ball he bowled and miscued it as it went directly to Ishan Kishan. Dhoni lost his bat trying to hit the ball hard and was walking off before umpire Nigel Llong stopped him to check the no-ball. And to everyone’s surprise Bumrah overstepped while bowling and a loud cheer went out in the Chepauk.

Chennai Super Kings lost the match by 6 wickets as Mumbai Indians reached their fifth IPL finals. This was not the first time CSK lost to Mumbai this season, they had lost the previous two games they played against them. Mumbai is the only team that dares to dominate the yellow army as the head-to-head count is 17-12.
As Chennai finished at second position after the league matches they have got another cherry in the cake. CSK will get another chance in the 2nd qualifier after the eliminator between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad in Vizag.
