Here's how Mahatma Gandhi's grand-son criticized Virat Kohli on his 'leave India' comment

The Indian skipper Virat Kohli recently found himself wired into a controversy. Kohli was responding to his fans via promotional video recorded for his newly launched app on his birthday on November 5th.

Kohli was seen reading out messages of a user who has written, "He (Virat Kohli) is an over-rated batsman. Nothing seems special in his batting. I enjoy watching English and Australian batsmen more than these Indians."

To which a fuming Kohli replied, 'I don't think you should live in India. Go and live somewhere else. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don't mind you not liking me. I don't think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right!

Many people critisized the skipper for making such bizzare comments. And the most recent to join that list is Mahatma Gandhi's great-grand son Mr. Tushar Gandhi, who took to twitter to critisize Virat's comment. Tushar wrote, 'If I prefer Viv Richards or Zaheer Abbas’s batting to yours, it’s not treason Mr. Kohli'.

Meanwhile, senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, backed Kohli and said, "What is wrong if Virat Kohli tells a questioner that he should migrate abroad? Both have freedom of speech. But media is slamming Virat Kohli only.
