The explosive Indian opener Shikhar Dhawan turned 32 on Tuesday (5 December). Apart from his fans, wishes also poured in for Delhi lad from cricket greats. On his birthday, Dhawan also completed his 2000 Test runs by hitting a fifty.
Among all the wishes that came on his birthday, one of those was outstanding and that came from none other than former explosive Indian opener Virender Sehwag. And who does not about Sehwag's witty sense of humour.
While wishing Dhawan on his birthday, Virender took it to the micro-blogging site and wrote, “Happy Birthday Shika The One, as angrez commentators call . May you be "The One" who rescues Team India whenever needed and lay the foundation for many victories @SDhawan25.”

At the post-match ceremony while talking about his birthday and fifty Dhawan said, "I really enjoyed scoring fifty today, especially as it is my birthday. Very special to me."
The Delhi lad also shared a video on his micro-blogging account celebrating his birthday and wrote, "It is lovely that my family is here and thanks to everyone for your wishes and support. It was a special birthday for me as my family is here and then I also played well on the field. Even the supporters at the stadium sang the birthday song for me. Thank you, everyone."
