Hanuma Vihari reveals unseen positive side of captain Virat Kohli

Indian cricketer Hanuma Vihari who recently scored his first-ever Test century talks about his captain Virat Kohli. Hanuma Vihari revealed a positive side of the Indian skipper which not many people know. Hanuma Vihari was in the Test squad for both the matches against West Indies.

Hanuma Vihari said Virat Kohli asked him to hold the winning trophy after the series was over and also hugged him.

“After we won the series, he (Virat Kohli) came straight to me and said ‘hold it’ and hugged me. He was kind enough to give me the trophy and I was very happy to hold the winning trophy. I want to thank each and every member of the team for the contribution in this win. This is an amazing team. When you win a series, especially overseas, it feels great. I am happy we started the Test Championship on a massive note,” Vihari told the Times of India.

India brutally thrashed West Indies by 2-0 and won the series. Hanuma Vihari played a crucial role in the series as he finished with 291 runs and as top run-getter for India. The 25-year old batsman from Andhra Pradesh scored two half-centuries and a century in the series.
