Cricketer turned politician Gautam Gambhir gets clean chit from senior cricketer Yusuf Pathan over Atishi Marlena controversy. Gautam is accused by Atishi of misogyny, casteism and distributing derogatory pamphlets against her.
After Harbhajan Singh and VVS Laxman, senior cricketer Yusuf Pathan backed the former World Cup winning player. Yusuf took to his official Twitter handle and wrote, “He is a man of honour, @GautamGambhir won't do something to disrespect women.”

Gautam Gambhir denied the allegations made by Aam Aadmi party and has challenged Chief minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal of proving the case and if found guilty he will not only withdraw his candidature but also hang himself in public.
Atishi Marlena and Gautam Gambhir are fighting the 2019 Lok Sabha elections against each other from Delhi east constituency. Atishi had earlier filed a criminal complaint against Gambhir for holding to voter ID cards.
Delhi goes for polls on May 12 and political parties are trying every move to turn voters in their favour. Lok Sabha elections will end on May 19 as India will vote for the last phase. The results will be announced on May 23 and the world will watch closely which party will form their government in the centre.
