Special prayers are being offered by the cricket lovers in holy city Varanasi ahead of the much anticipated India-England ICC Women's World Cup final to be played today at the Lord's, London.
Fans were seen shouting 'Jeetega Bhai Jeetega, Hindustan Jeetega'.
"We have prayed Lord Hanuman and Baba Vishwanath to shower blessings on our women's cricket team. Players like Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur will help India in winning the world cup", said one of the fans.
Riding high on confidence following their astounding victories over New Zealand and Australia, the Indian eves will aim to clinch their maiden ICC Women's World Cup title.
India was beaten by Australia back in 2005 but banished those demons by knocking out the defending champions in a dramatic semi-final in Derby.
If India win today, they will become only the fourth team to do so with England, Australia and New Zealand sharing all the preceding titles.
Indian eves are on the verge of making history as it was the historic Lord's cricket ground, where the men's team took its game-changing world title in 1983 with an upset win over the invincible West Indies.
