Exactly a year back, on this day, Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh had issued a statement announcing his retirement from international cricket after being in the service of Indian cricket for 19 years.
The all-rounder in a heartfelt video, had traced his journey as a kid who started playing cricket just because he was scared of his father. However, the left-hander continued to ply his trade in overseas T20 Leagues such as Global T20 Canada.
Yuvraj Singh turned out to be one of the finest shorter formats crickter before calling it a day on 10th June 2019 and his fans remembered the day when the all-rounder retired as they started trending #MissYouYuvi on social media.

"Cricket has given me everything and that's the reason why I am standing here today," Yuvraj had said in his retirement video. "It's been a love-hate relationship with the sport in retrospect. At this age I can manage some kind of fun cricket. I am going to go and enjoy my life."
All-inclusive, Yuvraj Singh featured in 40 Tests, 304 ODIs and 58 T20Is for India from 2003 to 2017. He cumulated 8,701 runs at an average of 36.55 in ODIs which includes 14 centuries and 52 half-centuries, and scalped 111 wickets at 38.68 apiece.
In 2007, Yuvraj displayed his big match mind set when he smashed Stuart Broad for six sixes during the first ever World T20. Yuvraj was named he player of the tournament when India won the World Cup in 2011 and also played a key role in the T20I World Cup 2007.
