The England Cricket Board (ECB) announced the team for the fourth Test match against Australia at Manchester. The fourth match between England and Australia can be a series decider as the Ashes is currently drawn at 1-1.

England won the third Test match at Leeds where Ben Stokes’ sensational innings helped England win the match by 1 wicket. England chased down a historic total of 359 runs to win the third match.

In the 140-year old Ashes history, England had never chased down more than 350 runs in the fourth innings but Ben Stokes changed that on Sunday.

Ben Stokes scored an unbeaten 135 runs and England won the match with just 1 wicket remaining. England has made a significant change in their squad as they replaced James Anderson with Craig Overton. Anderson is failing to recover from a calf injury.

England squad: Joe Root (C), Jason Roy, Joe Denly, Jos Buttler (WK), Jonny Bairstow, Jofra Archer, Jack Leach, Rory Burns, Sam Curran, Ben Stokes (VC), Chris Woakes, Craig Overton, Stuart Broad
