Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Thursday got their mitts on England’s World Cup winning skipper Eoin Morgan but team’s head coach Brendon Mccullum put out that Dinesh Karthik will remain their captain.

Earlier, Eoin Morgan was bought by KKR for Rs 5.25 crore in the Indian Premier League auction at Kolkata.
Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell was bagged by Kings XI Punjab for a whopping Rs 10.75 crore. Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Capitals got involved in a bidding war for Maxwell, but in the end, Punjab managed to grab hold of the player.
KKR also secured Australia’s pacer Pat Cummins for the huge price tag of Rs 15.5 crore. With this the 26-year-old has gone on to be the most expensive foreign buy in IPL.
